Solvay will again host the Onondaga County Volunteer Fireman's Association Convention, along with the Solvay Village Field Days on August 19 20 & 21 2010.  This is Solvay's first time hosting since 2007.  The weekend is jammed packed with activity for all.  Pushball Thursday and Friday, with the Parade and Races Saturday. The parade is open to all fire departments, in and out of the county. There will be live music provided each night, along with games and rides for all, and everything to eat or drink one can think of!  Please come out and support the Solvay Fire Department, the SFD Ladies Auxiliary and the O.C.V.F.A.
