ANOTHER SIGNAL 80, THIS TIME STATE FAIR BLVD.

In the morning hours on Monday another band of lake effect snow moved over the Solvay area bringing a fresh coat of snow to the first due. However, this wasn't the only thing the weather brought. A signal 80 was reported on State Fair Blvd. in the area of the I-690 EB on ramp with two vehicles involved. Rescue 11 went enroute on upon dispatch and arrived to find two pick up trucks that had been involved in a t-bone accident at the intersection. Rescue 11 went to work and packaged one patient in K.E.D. and moved them to a backboard. Rural/Metro took patient care and Rescue 11's crew cleaned up vehicle hazards and went in service within 15 minutes. Units operating: Solvay Rescue 11
