SIGNAL 80: I-690 EB NEAR SYRACUSE CITY LINE

In the early morning hours of Wednesday 2/26/14 Solvay Rescue was alerted to a multi-vehicle collision on I-690 EB near Crucible Steel. Solvay Rescue 11 responded and arrived to find 4 vehicles pulled off to both sides of the interstate with at least one patient. Solvay Rescue 11's crew packaged and extracted one patient from one of the vehicles involved. Patient care was then transferred to Rural/Metro who transported the patient to a local medical facility for evaluation. All other occupants of the other vehicles refused medical treatment and Rescue 11 went back into service. One lane was shut down while local tow companies removed two of the vehicles.
