RESCUE 11 & TRUCK 11 TO SIGNAL 80 | NB ROUTE 695

In the early afternoon hours on Friday, Solvay Rescue was alerted to the scene of a Signal 80, car into the gaurdrail, on NB Route 695. Solvay Rescue 11 went enroute with 5, on dispatch. Communications advised multiple callers on the incident and the collision occured just before the I-690 interchange. Rescue 11 arrived finding one vehicle into the gaurdrail with two occupants still in the vehicle. Solvay Truck 11 went enroute to the incident in place of Engine 22. Rescue 11's crew went to work stabilizing the vehicle and packaging one patient before the arrival of the ambulance. Truck 11 arrived and acted as a blocker to protect the scene. Their crew took care of vehicle hazards. Rural/Metro Ambulance arrived and patient care was transferred. One patient was transported to a local medical facility. Solvay Units cleared.
