SIGNAL 98 | ONONDAGA HILL

Around 1500 hrs, Solvay Engine 21 was dispatched on a Onondaga Hill box alarm for a reported apartment building fire. Engine 21 responded on dispatch with 5 volunteers as the R.I.T. but arrived as the second due engine company. The R.I.T. assignement was re-assigned and Engine 21's crew went to work searching and ventilating the structure. Onondaga Hill and Taunton units found a fire in the basement which they quickly knocked down. Units returned to service by 1545 hrs.
