VEHICLE FIRE | TRUMP ST. | SOLVAY

In the late morning hours, Solvay Fire was alerted to the report of a car smoking on Trump St. in the Village. Engine 12 responded moments later with four volunteers. Solvay Car 1 (Spaeth) arrived and found a vehicle with a fully involved engine compartment fire. Engine 12 arrived seconds later and stretched the front bumper line, quickly knocking the fire. Solvay Engine 21 also responded and assisted Engine 12. Crews returned to service after operating on scene for approx. a half hour.
