Signal 99 | Oakridge Ter | Liverpool

At 1837 hours, Liverpool, Moyers Corners, North Syracuse, Mattydale, and Solvay were dispatched to a reported kitchen fire in Liverpool Station 2's first due. Liverpool Car 3 arrived first and reported heavy smoke showing from a two story single family dwelling. The alarm was upgraded to a Signal 99 (working fire). Liverpool arrived first and established a water supply and then stretched the first line. As additional units arrived, the fire was quickly brought under control and additional fire scene functions were completed such as searches, securing utilities, ventilation, and ladders. Solvay Rescue 11 responded with five personnel to assist with manpower. Rescue 11 returned to service after operating on the scene for approximately an hour.
