After leaving the scene for a car into a building in Solvay, Engine 11 responded to the Onondaga Hill fire district for a reported residential fire. Engine arrived and was assigned as the R.I.T. with the crew from the Nedrow Fire Department. Engine 11 threw ladders and operated on the scene for approximately two hours before returning to service.
At 2045 hours, Solvay Fire was dispatched to a reported MVC with injuries at the intersection of West Genesee St. and Fay Rd. Rescue 11 responded and arrived to find two vehicles blocking the intersection after a T-bone style collision. It was quickly identified that the driver of the four door sedan in the collision would require extrication. Fairmount Fire Department was requested for an engine company to respond as Solvay Rescue 11's crew went to work removing the driver's
