SQUAD 12 AND OFF-DUTY DETECTIVE WITH A CARDIAC ARREST SAVE

Solvay was dispatched to a cardiac arrest at Morgan's Restaurant. Within minutes 5 Solvay Volunteers were on scene to find Detective Smith from the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office performing CPR. The crew initiated full BLS protocols as Rural/Metro arrived, including early defibrillation of the patient. Interestingly, the Rural/Metro crew was comprised by 2 Solvay Volunteers.
