SIGNAL 99 | CAMILLUS | ENGINE 22 ON SECOND ALARM

Around 1300 hrs. Camillus Fire Department was dispatched to the Green Gate Inn, on Main St. in the Village of Camillus, for reports of a kitchen fire. Upon the arrival of initial companies the assignment was upgraded to a Signal 99, working fire. When the assignment was upgraded to a second alarm Solvay Fire was alerted to stand-by in quarters to provide response to the Western Section of Onondaga County.

The alarm was eventually upgraded to a third alarm fire and then Solvay Engine 22 responded to the scene for additional man-power. Once on scene Engine 22’s crew was added to the manpower pool where Solvay firefighters eventually assisted in the overhaul phase of the operation, checking for fire extension. Engine 22 returned to the first due around 1900 hrs. Solvay Units Operating: Engine 22 and Car 1 (Spaeth).
