At 0539 hrs. Solvay Rescue 11 as the R.I.T., in place of Engine 21, responded Friday morning to Lakeside for the structure fire at 106 Laura Dr. Rescue 11 with 5 volunteers was first arriving to a two story residential structure with fire on the C-Side. Geddes Police had contained most of the fire with a dry chemical fire extinguisher upon arrival. Rescue 11 assisted Lakeside Ladder 1 in stretching a hose line to the rear of the house and overhauling the fire. Rescue 11 also checked for fire extension into the structure and assisted in ventilating a smoke condition inside the house. Lakeside, Baldwinsville, and Solvay returned to service by 0630 hrs. The fire remains under investigation.
