INDUSTRIAL FIRE | MILTON AVENUE | SOLVAY

At 13:40 hours Solvay units were alerted for an automatic fire alarm at Berry Plastics. Engine 22 and Car 1 arrived 3 minutes later to reports of an active fire. Chief Spaeth called for the balance of the assignment. 22's crew made quick work of the fire, while Truck 11's went to the roof. Engine 21, Rescue 11, Car 2, Car 3, Taunton Ladder 5, and Fairmount Engine 6 set up for ventilation of both the production section and warehouse. Solvay units remained on scene ventilating for almost 90 minutes.
