VEHICLE FIRE | CHARLES AVE | SOLVAY

In the mid afternoon hours, Solvay Fire was alerted to a possible vehicle on fire in the 400 block of Charles Ave. Engine 12 responded on dispatch with 7 volunteers and arrived to find a small SUV fully involved. Engine 12's crew quickly went to work stretching the front 150 ft bumper line and began extinguishing the fire. Engine 12 went back into service approx. 30 minutes later.
