TRAILER FIRE | INDUSTRIAL DR | SOLVAY

At 1642, Solvay FIre was dispatched to 24 Industrial Dr for a reported tractor drawn trailer on fire. Solvay Engine 12 responded and immediately noticed a large amount of smoke in the area of the call. Minutes later, Engine 12 arrived to find a 53' Box Trailer on fire in the middle of a parking lot. Lot attendants were able to remove the trailer from a row to prevent fire spread prior to the arrival of the fire department. Engine 12's crew stretched a 200 ft. pre-connected attack line and began to suppress the fire. Engine 12 was quickly able to bring the fire under control and returned to service within the hour.
