Vehicle Fire | State Fair Blvd. | Geddes

Around 1100 hours Friday, Solvay Fire was dispatched to reports of a vehicle on fire in the area of the state fairgrounds on State Fair Blvd. Engine 12 checked enroute quickly and was given an updated location of the vehicle being in front of Gate 1 of the fair. Solvay Engine 12 arrived and found a fully involved 4 door sedan. Engine 12's crew stretched the front bumper line and quickly went to work controlling the fire. Units were placed back in service approx. 20 minutes after arrival.
