MVC with Heavy Entrapment | NYS Thruway | Warners

After returning to service from a MVC on I-690 in our own first due, Solvay Engine 21 was added to the assignment for a reported multi-vehicle MVC with heavy entrapment in Warners. As units arrived, the dispatch was confirmed and several tractor trailers and vehicles were involved with at least two vehicles with entrapment. Several rescue crews responded to the scene. Solvay Engine 21 arrived and assisted crews on scene with removing the doors and roof of one sedan. Engine 21 also assisted the EMS crews on scene with evaluations. Engine 21 returned to service approx. 30 minutes later.
