Vehicle Fire | Steven Ter. | Westvale

Around 1600 hours, Solvay Fire was dispatched to a reported vehicle on fire behind a residence. Solvay Engine 11 responded and was updated by Onondaga 911 that they were receiving numerous calls reporting a pick up truck fully involved in a field behind houses on Fern Rd. Engine 11 was again updated enroute that the best access was going to be off of Steven Terrace. Engine 11 arrived and found the vehicle fully involved with no exposures. Engine 11's crew stretched the bumper line and went to work extinguishing the fire. Engine 11 returned to service after operating on scene for approximately 45 minutes.
