Signal 99 | Grolier Rd. | Onondaga Hill

Just after 0700 hours, the alarm for fire in the Onondaga Hill Fire District was transmitted with a caller reporting flames coming from the window of a building across the street from Dunkin' Donuts. Initial arriving units arrived reporting smoke showing from a multi-family apartment building. Command then made the decision and upgraded the assignment to a Signal 99 (all hands working fire). Solvay Engine 11 was assigned on the original box alarm and responded as the RIT. Crews worked on the scene and contained the fire to a single apartment on the first floor of the building. Solvay Engine 11 returned to service by 0830 hours.
