Vehicle Fire | Third St. | Solvay

Late in the evening Sunday, Solvay Fire responded to a reported vehicle fire on Third St. in the village. Engine 11 arrived shortly after dispatch to find an active engine compartment fire on a small SUV. Engine 11's crew stretched the front bumper line and made quick work of the fire.

Engine 21 also responded and assisted with opening the vehicle up. All units returned to service after operating on scene for 25 minutes.
