Tractor Trailer Fire | Orange Lot NYS Fairgrounds

Early this evening, Solvay Fire was dispatched to the Orange Lot of the NYS Fairgrounds for a reported tractor trailer on fire. Engine 11 responded and arrived to find the tractor portion of the truck well involved in fire. Engine 11 stretched the front bumper line and began to make quick work of the fire. Due to lack of water supply in the Orange Lot, Engine 22 also responded to assist with water. Units operated on the scene for approximately 45 minutes before returning to service.
