MVC With Extrication | W. Genesee St. & Walberta Rd. | Geddes

At 1830 hours, Solvay Fire was dispatched to West Genesee St. for a reported MVC with injuries. Engine 11 and Rescue 11 responded and arrived to find two vehicles involved in a T-bone style collision with the driver of one vehicle trapped. Crews went to work stabilizing the vehicle and then beginning extrication doing a total side removal and roof removal. The occupant was freed and then transported to a local hospital for further treatment. Units returned to service within a half hour of initial dispatch.
