    Vehicle Fire | I-690 WB | Geddes

    October 9, 2019

    In the late morning hours, Solvay Fire was alerted to a reported vehicle fire on I-690 WB. Upon arrival, the engine company found a well involved engine compartment fire that was spreading to the passenger compartment of a small SUV. The engine crew quickly stretched the fron bumper line and went to work extinguishing the fire. Although the vehicle suffered heavy fire damage, no injuries were reported.
