Solvay Fire 2016 Year In Review

In 2016, The Solvay Fire Department answered 1501 calls for service. Our members put in thousands of man hours for training as well as several thousands of hours in for station staffing, to ensure a quick response to alarms. In addition to this, our department participated in providing fire and EMS coverage to many events/details throughout the year including The Great NYS Fair, Lakeview Ampitheater concerts, 5K's, and many more. All of this was accomplished thanks to our dedicated members as our organization is still 100 percent volunteer.
