Early this morning, Solvay Engine 11 was dispatched to the 2700 block of Brickyard Rd for a reported residential fire. Engine 11 arrived second, established a water supply, and then stretched the initial line into the interior. Engine 11's crew made a push knocking down a bulk of the fire on the first floor however due to structural integrity and a collapse of the interior stairs, Engine 11 was pulled out of the structure and the fire became an exterior operation. Engine 11 remained on the scene with other units operating until approximately 0800 hours.
