STATION 4 OPENS AGAIN AT GREAT NEW YORK STATE FAIR

For another year Solvay Station 4 has been placed in service as the Great NYS Fair Opens its gates. During the duration of the fair Solvay Engine 21 relocates to the fair and is staffed by 6 volunteers 24/7 for the fair's 12 day duration. Solvay responds to any fire related emergencies as well as assisting Rural Metro Medical Services when called. Station 4 is located on the western end of the Youth Building next to the maintenance department. Station 4 is a fully functioning firehouse with sleeping quarters, showers, and apparatus room.
