FIRST DUE NEWS: ONONDAGA LAKE TO UNDERGO MAJOR REVITALIZATION

Governor Andrew Cuomo visited the Youth Center on Woods Rd. today to unveil major plans to enhance areas of our first due responses area. These plans include revitalizing parts of Milton Ave. and Bridge St. in the village by adding landscapes, bike lanes, and signage. Upgrading the infastructure surrounding Onondaga Lake and the NYS Fairgrounds. But one of the largest plans is to construct a Lakehouse Concert Pavillion on the Western Shore of Onondaga Lake adjacent to the Orange Parking area of the NYS Fairgrounds. In addition, plans are to add water taxis from Liverpool and the inner harbor to the Solvay portion of the lake. Also the continuing construction of the Onondaga Lake Trail is expected to be completed in correlation to these major additions. The overall project is expected to cost $100 million dollars.
