In the early morning hours, Solvay Engine 12 was added to the assignment for a reported detached garage fire in the Camillus fire district. A Camillus chief arrive and reported the garage fully involved with potential exposure problems. Engine 12 was on the road quickly however snow covered roads slowed all units that were responding to the incident. Solvay Engine 12 operated on the scene for a short time before relocating to the Camillus fire station while initial arriving units remained on the scene for fire investigators. Solvay Station 2 remained staffed throughout the move-up to handle any other calls in Solvay or Geddes. Engine 12 returned to Station 1 around 0645 hours.
