Signal 98 | Century Dr. | Solvay

At 1320 Hours on Wednesday, Solvay, Fairmount, and Taunton units responded to a reported fire behind a house on Century Dr. in the Village of Solvay. Police arrived prior to fire units and reported a well involved detached garage. Fire units arrived and stretched on the structure, bringing the fire under control in ten minutes. The assignment was reduced to Solvay units which worked on overhaul for another hour. All units returned to service within two hours of initial dispatch.
